This is the second of four pages I wrote/drew in early 2008 for the second volume of a German anthology by the name of "Jazam!" [jazam.de]. The English version is also included in the print version of Bombshell #0.

Each volume of "Jazam!" goes by a different general topic, and contributing stories have to somehow revolve around this topic... the 2nd volume's topic was "time".

Pages from issue 0 and issue 1 are going to be uploaded daily.

He just doesn't get it. Doesn't he know that if he destroys our current time system that a new more strict one will be made to squeeze even more out of us?!

Well, one can try... especially if you're megalomaniac comic book villain.

Time isn't in a watch or clock it is inside every bit of matter. To stop time you'd have to stop the movement of every piece of matter in the universe. And that could be happening every second of every day because no human could see it.

You're absolutely right. That's why he says that "the passage of time isn't the problem". The problem is measuring it - measuring it with absolute synchronicity around the globe. The pressure of time is created by clocks, and not by the passage of time. At least, that's the idea here.
