This page was originally created for "Heroes Unite", a superhero webcomic community project on drunkduck.com. Since this was the first Bombshell page ever, I thought it would only be reasonable to include it in a #0 issue. Don't worry though - I won't recycle any other pages ;-)

By the way, I originally intended to call her Visconti... and I still think it rolls better off the tongue. But I dropped the "Vis" because I thought it just sounded too much like old Italian nobility... but maybe she's related to Bill Conti, which wouldn't be so bad.

Pages from issue 0 and issue 1 are going to update daily.

Thanks for reading and commenting!

F**king fantastic art! Are you planning to do this like an actual comic, page by page? I'm doing a similar thing myself with my series "The Mighty Meteorite". Keep up the good work, I'll be keeping an eye on this one!

Italian nobility, eh? I dunno. I think that would have been quite appropriate for her!

But, to me, the name "Visconti" will only ever be associated with David Bowie's best producer/collaborator. All others are mere imitations!

The name "Visconti" kept floating around in the back of my head, but I couldn't tell why. But I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to Bowie's producer's, so it can't have been THAT particular Visconti. I remember Brian Eno, but...

*sigh!*

Young people today ... No respect for the classics! ;-) And you a musician, too!

Thanks for educating me! ^_^

I try not to call myself a musician... that would be an exaggeration :-) I always liked David Bowie. But I am also pretty eclectic when it comes to, say, buying CDs and really occupying myself with an artist (to the point where I can tell their albums apart, or say which producer produced which song, etc.). There are many classics which I never liked *enough* to really get to know them. For example, it took me 29 years to buy my first Jimi Hendrix album. But I'm not really ashamed of that... because there are a lot of artists I know VERY WELL which no one else knows ;-)

For some reason last names that start with "V" tend to sound more villain-ish to me anyway.

Well, that wouldn't have been all too ill-fitting, then! :P

An untouchable-criminal hunting vigilante who works for the UN? Ironically that certainly would be a great place to start. Something about dens and lions comes to mind...heh.

Comic looks great so far.

Thank you!

Yup, some of my thoughts exactly. The UN is where high ideals clash with everyday villainy.
